OFFICE DEPOT PURCHASES

When you purchase items at Office Depot you can help HCA obtain free supplies.  Just provide the cashier with the number 70085100 or tell them that Hillcrest is your choice and 5% of your purchase will be credited to HCA.

REGISTER TARGET CARD & HCA RECEIVES DONATION

Target will donate an amount equal to one percent (1%) of your Target Visa or Target Card purchases at any Target store and Target.com, and one-half percent (1/2%) of your Target Visa purchases everywhere else you use your Target Visa.  Target will track purchases charged to participating accounts and will distribute the accumulated donations to HCA in March and September.  Just call Target at 1-800-316-6142 and use Hillcrest Christian Academy’s School ID number 19109 to register.

VERIZON LONG DISTANCE CREDIT FOR HCA

Do you use Verizon long distance service?  If so, you may be able to help Hillcrest.  Verizon will donate 5% of your monthly long distance spending to Hillcrest.  Interested?  Call 1-877-927-3348 to sign up or for more information, visit www.verizon.com/extracredit.

GIANT EAGLE APPLES FOR STUDENTS

To register your Giant Eagle Advantage card, please call 1-800-474-4777 or register online at www.gianteagle.com.  Our school I.D. number is 0452.  YOU MUST RE-REGISTER AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH SCHOOL YEAR!  Please encourage your friends and family to participate as well. We were able to receive over $2500 of supplies last year alone!

SAVE LASER PRINTER AND INKJET CARTRIDGES

Save your laser printer and inkjet cartridges.  There is a container near Entrance B to put them in. HCA sends them out for recycling and gets money for each piece!

CAMPBELL'S SOUP UPC SYMBOLS

Hillcrest receives school merchandise for our accumulated UPC symbols.  There is a container near Entrance B to put them in. This also includes Pepperidge Farm, Prego and Goldfish.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills products and save them to send in to Hillcrest at designated times as there are classroom contests with a party for the class that collects the most Box Tops.  Our school gets 10 cents for each box top it sends to General Mills.

TYSON PROJECT A+

When you purchase Tyson products, save the Project A+ portion of the box and send in to the office.  Each label is work 24¢ cash to our school.

UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN

Designate your United Way contribution to the HCA preschool by checking the box marked “specific nonprofit and human service agencies” and fill in HCA Preschool Code Number 1532253.  Please also mark the box authorizing disclosure so that we can acknowledge your gift for your records and ours.  THANK YOU!

LAND'S END

Do you shop at Land’s End?  This is a great place to purchase school uniforms and earn 3% for Hillcrest Christian Academy.  Check the box that states “school purchase” and enter our school code 900133588.  Land’s End will mail the school a check.  Coming soon we will have our HCA logo available for embroidery detail or silk screening at Land’s End too!

MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS

Have you been thinking about subscribing to a magazine, or is your current magazine subscription running out soon?  Order through www.gafundraising.com and enter our school code of 1408780. They will forward 40% of all sales back to our school!

MATCHING GIFT POSSIBILITIES

Enclosed in the back-to-school packet is a brochure about companies offering matching gifts for donations to schools.  See if your company is on the list in the brochure, and then consider making a donation that will double in value!  Be sure to check with your HR department for policies regarding this program.

EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT TAX CREDIT PROGRAM

If you own a company that does business in Pennsylvania, you may be able to donate your corporate income taxes to HCA rather than sending them to Harrisburg!  For more details, call the school office (412-854-4040) and ask for Alan.
